Four-year program on development of Stepanavan been confirmed

VANADZOR, APRIL 21, ARMENPRESS: The four-year program on development of Stepanavan has been confirmed. A number of works will be implemented by 2009-2012 program on social-economic development conformed by the Council of Elders of the community. Mayor Sargis Gharakeshishyan told Armenpress that the program intends repair of pavements, asphalting and illumination of streets, etc.

The program also intends green-covering works. Till the year of 2012 the amount of green areas will be reached to 6 square meters per person of the town; planting will be implemented along highways and streets, as well as in the parks of Ruminakan, Prometevs, Desini, where playgrounds will be also constructed. And the majority of cultural centers subordinated to the community will be gathered in the cultural house, which will soon be given to exploitation.
