An exposition held with participation of Tavush province

IJEVAN, APRIL 2, ARMENPRESS: On April 1, an exposition opened in Ijevan with the participation of the producers of Tavush province. The enterprises, whose business has received support by “Trpanjean” fund of the American University of Armenia and Tavush province office of “World Vision-Armenia” charitable organization, comprise a large number among them.

These organizations and the Commerce and Industrial Chamber of Tavush province were the authors of the initiative. Natural juices, eggs of ostrich, knitted fabric, honey, cheese were presented at the exposition.

Enterpriser Anush Tsaturyan founded a sewing factory three years ago in Noyemberyan town, and has expanded both the assortment of the production and the export geography in a short period. “Our work is in full swing. Thanks to my personal ties we export product to Russia, and possibly there is no province in Armenia, with which we do not cooperate. We sew clothes, curtains, etc for kindergartens. We receive individual orders. Shortly said, we produce everything which is possible to get from fabric,” A. Tsaturyan said.

Slavik Zurnachyan from Haghtanak village is engaged in exotic bird breeding – ostrich breeding. Six ostriches live in his firm, each egg of which costs 15 thousand Drams.

Head of the Commerce and Industrial Chamber of Tavush province Armen Shahnazaryan noted that the exhibition aims to support the producers to bring their products to new markets, to display their potential.
