Support of the Armenian Social Investment Fund to Berd

IJEVAN, APRIL 1, ARMENPRESS: The Armenian Social Investment Fund will implement support programs in Berd town of Tavush province. Berd Mayor Andranik Sharyan told Armenpress that this year the gym hall of the N 2 Secondary School will be repaired, for which the fund will provide nearly 110 million Drams. The cultural house and gymnastic school of Berd will be ensured with a heating system, for which 30-35 million Drams will be extended. For the implementation of the works a tender of constructional organizations will be declared in April.

According to A. Sharyan, still in autumn 2009 the construction works of the new building of the musical school started in Berd; the first floor was being constructed. The other day the construction has restarted; the second floor is in a construction process. The works are implemented by the means extended from the Armenian state budget; the overall cost is 300 million Drams.

According to the mayor, the urban musical school will have a beautiful concert hall and a heating system. The building is intended to hand to exploitation this year.
