YEREVAN, MARCH 22, ARMENPRESS: In 2010, the “Center for organizing youth events” of the Armenian Sport and Youth Affairs Ministry will pay a special attention to the issues of the province young people. Press Secretary of the center Lilit Grigoryan told Armenpress that works will be particularly carried out in the direction of enforcement of capabilities of the centers for organizing province youth events. According to L. Grigoryan, in that context they will cooperate with international organizations.
This year the cooperation with the OSCE Yerevan office will continue. A program of “Development of the capabilities of the working staff of the province youth centers and volunteers, within the frameworks of which a number of educational classes, as well as further net work for the working staffs of the province youth centers and volunteers will be organized.
Within the frameworks of “On the Trace of the Sun” program, “Center for organizing youth events” cooperates with the Fund for Protection of Wild Nature and Cultural Values. Particularly, joint events are intended to conduct by involving the representatives of province youth centers and volunteers in the classes of the fund.
L. Grigoryan said that the center attaches a great importance to propaganda. The program of “Online Youth Magazine” is implemented for that purpose. The electronic magazine operates at the sites of www.eritasard.am , www.erit.am, www.youth.am, www.youthweb.am, www.youtharmenia.am , www.eritasard.net and has a number of headings – politics, provinces, culture, entertainment, sport, education, international, interview, analysis, etc. It uncovers the issues of youth state policy, refers to the activity of the NGOs, student institutions, and a number of other issues exciting young people.
The Center for organizing youth events collaboratively with “Pyunik” union of disabled people implements the program of “Education of Young parents having disabled children”. The goal of the program is to educate those parents on the issues of disabled people, which will promote the integration of their children to the society.
