Bookstores to be established in the territory of province libraries subordinated to Armenian Culture Ministry

YEREVAN, MARCH 16, ARMENPRESS: Relevant territories have been separated in all the province libraries subordinated to the Armenian Culture Ministry, where bookstores will be established. Public Relations Manager of the ministry Gayane Durgaryan told Armenpress that the establishment of the bookstores will promote the development of the system of a state bookseller.
According to her, in this issue the ministry expects the support of governor offices. Currently the terms of putting the bookstores into operation are being specified. The libraries can use the income received from book sale for giving solution to their issues.
According to the decision of the ministry, this is a pilot program; in case of its success bookstores are intended to open in community libraries as well.
