Armenian Deputy Prime Minister got acquainted with the implementation process of the World Bank’s urgent program on restoration of irrigation systems

YEREVAN, MARCH 10, ARMENPRESS: Armenian Deputy Prime Minister, Territorial Administration Minister Armen Gevorgyan visited today Ararat province accompanied with Chairman of Water Economy State Committee Andranik Andreasyan, got acquainted with the implementation process of the World Bank’s urgent program on restoration of irrigation systems.
The main canal of Tallinn is being repaired within the frameworks of the program. The construction works have started from November, 2010, at present the 35 % of the works is implemented. The overall cost of the restoration of the Tallinn main canal is 6, 2 billion AMD, 59 km is intended to restore. The works are scheduled to bring to an end in April, 2011.
Public Relations Department of the Armenian Territorial Administration Ministry told Armenpress that A. Gevorgyan has called the heads of construction organizations to implement the works with high-quality and in the determined timeframe.
