Urban development programs implemented in Syunik by the Armenian Social Investments Fund

KAPAN, FEBRUARY 22, ARMENPRESS: Multi-content programs were implemented last year in eight communities of the province of Syunik by the means of the Armenian social investments fund.

An official from the governor office told Armenpress that new school buildings were constructed in the villages of Srashen and Ishkhanasar with 385, 7 million Drams, and reconstruction works were carried out in the school of Shinuhayr village and in a college of Goris town.

The water supply system of Araksashen district of Meghri town was constructed with 67, 2 million Drams extended by the fund, and the inner system of the town’s drainage was reconstructed with 40, 8 million Drams. New buildings of community offices were constructed in the communities of Srashen, Kornidzor and Tandzatap within the frameworks of 129, 6 million Drams. Sisian town’s cultural house was repaired, a new heating system was applied, for which 102, 4 million Drams was extended by the fund.
