ASHTARAK, FEBRUARY 18, ARMENPRESS: The circle of the North-South road corridor program carried out in the republic with the funding of the Asian Development Bank involves Aragatsotn province too. The 72 km 200 m sector of the road will pass through the mentioned province – out of which the 36,6 km will pass through Ashtarak, 35,6 km through Talin.
For the implementation of the road construction program in the province preparatory works are being carried out coordinated by the commission set up by the governor of the province S. Sahakyan.
Chairman of the commission, deputy governor M. Arakelyan told Armenpress that currently the studies are being made in the territories intended for the road construction.
The deputy governor said that the province expects positive tendencies from the exploitation of this road of international importance connected with the activation of trade-economic life and cargo transportation, wider opportunities of selling agricultural products, etc.
