A new wave of complaint in “Deno Gold Mining Company” CJSC

KAPAN, FEBRUARY 11, ARMENPRESS: The employees of the underground and over-ground mines of “Deno Gold Mining Company” CJSC went again on strike in the evening of February 10.

If previously they demanded increase of salaries and improvement of working conditions, this time the action of complaint is for the defense of the partners dismissed from the job on the eve.

Public Relations Manager of the company Norayr Aghayan said that nearly 20 employees have been dismissed from the job, and it is intended to dismiss other 35 employees in near future too, Director-General of the company Robert Faletta stated noting that the company has larger working force by some specialties.

The miners have been dismissed from the work, but the enterprise has informed that it will pay their salary of two months, which corresponds to the Armenian labor legislation.

The first shift restarted the work on February 11, though with a bit delay. Chairman of the trade union of the enterprise Suren Tumanyan qualified the strike as illegal and sponteneous.
