High indexes of revealing crimes registered last year in the Armenian provinces of Lori, Gegharkunik and Armavir

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 9, ARMENPRESS: High indexes of revealing crimes were registered last year in the Armenian provinces of Lori, Gegharkunik and Armavir. Press service of the RA Police told Armenpress that 1 322 cases of crime were registered in 2009 in the province of Lori against the 802 of 2008. A thousand and forty two cases have been revealed. Simultaneously, the number of the criminal cases being in process was 1 416; the 1 042 have been revealed. Vanadzor is in the first place with the registered crimes - 594, and the second comes Tumanyan with 188 crimes.

Nine hundred seventeen cases were registered in 2009 in the province of Armavir against the 493 of 2008. Seven hundred four cases have been revealed as a result of the undertaken operative-investigative measures.

The 738 out of the 863 criminal cases being in process have been revealed. Vagharshapat ranks the first by the number of the registered crimes - 416, Armavir – the second with 339 crimes.

710 cases of crime were registered in the mentioned period in the province of Gegharkunik against the 339 of 2008. Fife hundred fifty four cases have been revealed.

Simultaneously, the number of the criminal cases being in process was 753, 698 of which have been revealed. Sevan is in the first place with the number of crimes - 101, Gavar- in the second - 81.
