Works are under way to arm Hrazdan cement mill with new technologies

YEREVAN, JANUARY 28, ARMENPRESS: Works are under way to arm Hrazdan cement mill with up-to-date technologies. 'Mika cement' press office told Armenpress the technical equipments in the mill have not been updated since 1960s. They are very old and do not meet the current demands. The mill needs to be supplied with state-of-the-art technologies that demand a slew of power-bearing substances, particularly natural gas prices of which increase more and more. Currently meausures are taken to use fuel and coal in the production, because Armenia has enough mines.

The company directors decided to begin the construction of a new packing factory supplied with up-to-date German technologies that will give an opportunity to pack 3000 50 kg- weighing cement sacks per hour and to reduce loss and exhaustion. 7 containers are already received, and 10 ones are expected in February. The works are planned to end in May, 2010. Works are implemented for reconstructing the production technological process and modernizing it. Supplying the cement mill with state-of-the-art technologies demands new personnel, employees who have the necessary know-how for using those technologies. For this purpose the company endeavors to accept highly qualified specialists for employment.
