YEREVAN, JANUARY 20, ARMENPRESS. The death toll in an explosion that partially destroyed a hospital in eastern Ukraine on Monday has risen to 16, Armenpress reports citing Ukrainian news agency. According to the local emergency service, another eight bodies were pulled out from the debris on Wednesday. Another six people are still in hospitals with two of them in critical condition. Hundreds were in the Lugansk hospital when an oxygen cylinder exploded in an intensive care unit on the fourth floor at about 9.00 a.m. local time (07:00 GMT). Several stories caved in. Initial reports said safety violations caused the oxygen cylinder to explode. A governmental investigative commission has been set up, and Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko visited Lugansk.
