Elections of self-governing bodies in 5 Gegharkunik communities

GAVAR, DECEMBER 26, ARMENPRESS: Elections of local-governing bodies will be conducted January 31 in 5 communities of N 22 polling station of the province of Gegharkunik province. Chairman of N 22 Electoral Commission Albert Aghekyan told Armenpress that an election of a head of community has been fixed in the village of Yereanos, and an election of the Council of Elders – in Sarukhan, Lchashen, Chkalovka and Norashen. According to the timetable conformed by N 22 Electoral Commission, the polling stations have already been determined and the district polling centers have been enumerated respectively. The lists of the voters have already been fastened as well. The candidates of the head of the community and Council of Elders will be nominated January 1-6, the registration will be held January 8-11, and the electoral campaign will run January 12-29.
