Dilijan municipality carrying out works toward the development of all the spheres of the town

IJEVAN, DECEMBER 25, ARMENPRESS: The works and programs implemented by Dilijan municipality from October 1 to December 22 of 2009 have created real prerequisites for the further development of social-economic, religious, cultural and healthcare spheres, an official from the municipality told Armenpress adding that socially insecure families are always kept in the center of attention. Money support has been extended to fifteen similar families during the mentioned period. New Year presents have been prepared for 500 children attending kindergartens subordinated to urban community. The construction works of the local heating system of the new building of the regional geographic museum are in process. The repair of the central library is going on. The municipality is undertaking measures toward the fortification of material-technical base of the institutions subordinated to it. It also displays an active support to the construction works of the educational establishments. Works on gasification and construction of a local heating system have been carried out in kindergarten N 1, and reconstruction works of water disposal pipelines – in N 10. An asphalting and repair of potholes of roads of urban significance have been carried out. The asphalting works of 1 km road around Shamakhyan 4th lane which have been carried out collaboratively with IFAD program have been already accomplished. Notable works have been carried out also toward the improvement of garbage disposal and sanitary cleaning.
