Syunik has got about 22 thousand gas subscribers

KAPAN, DECEMBER 23, ARMENPRESS: Syunik gas supply and gasification branch of “ArmRusgasprom” has been technically equipped in 2009. New equipments and cars have been obtained. The number of the subscribers of the branch has grown in 1000 and has exceeded the 22 000. This year the enterprise has made notable investments on purpose of ensuring subscribers’ security. Nearly 13 000 alarm devices have been placed at the houses of resident-subscribers for free. An official from the branch told Armenpress that the enterprise has to fulfill many tasks also in 2010. The rural communities of Kapan region, as well as Meghri and Agarak are intended to be gasificated. Planning-estimation works have already been implemented for the latter. The gasification works of Sisian’s N 2 and Kapan’s Vachagan districts are currently in process with the financial support of IFAD.
