According to him, all films presented in this category have one common line- it is their authors love towards Armenia and reconfirmation of their Armenian identity. “Irrespective of these films quality, it is very important that Armenian film makes have this chance to gather in their historical homeland and to present their works to Armenian audience,” Michael Stamboltsian said. Two of these films are dedicated to prominent Turkish-Armenian editor Hrant Dink, killed last January in Istanbul. One is made by Nuritza Matosian from Great Britain. It is about famous hero of the Nagorno-Karabakh war-Monte Melkonian. Hayk Ordian’s Armenian Wines History lasts 17 minutes. It is an attempt to look into the history of Armenian winemaking.
