TURK PHOTO-JOURNALISTS VISIT ARMENIAN GYUMRI

GYUMRI, MAY 4, ARMENPRESS:Five Turkish photo-journalists arrived in Armenia’s second largest town of Gyumri on April 25 within the frameworks of a joint program aimed at building a photo-bridge between Turkish Kars and Armenian Gyumri. The Turkish Kars is located across the border. The Turkish correspondents are from Photo Report online publication and since their arrival they have been visiting various sites to take pictures of Gyumri and its residents. According to Turkish journalists, the residents of both cities have much in common, although they admitted that Gyumri is more beautiful;. One of them, Altan Bal, told Armenpress they encountered no problem in Gyumri although they had some apprehensions before arriving. Armenian photo-journalists will visit for their part Kars and then their pictures will be exhibited in both countries.
