“ASIAN DEVELOPMENT BANK” STARTS THE FIRST ROUND OF ROAD BUILDING PROGRAMS IN GEGHARKUNIK

GAVAR, OCTOBER 23, ARMENPRESS:From the second half of October “Asian Development Bank” started its road building program in Gegharkunik. Head of the transport and road building department of Gegharkunik Governor’s office Gevorg Khachatrian told Armenpress that at present land works are being carried out on the roads, and particularly on state highway – Astghadzor 2,5 km, state highway – Vardadzor 2,1 km, state highway – Tsovasar 6 km and Tsovagyugh – Semyonovka 14,3 km. 158,3 million drams will be invested in the direction of Astghadzor, 206,7 million drams - in the direction of Vardadzor, 424,8 million drams – in Tsovasar and 581,4 million drams will be invested in the direction of Tsovagyugh – Semyonovka. Second round of the program will kick off next year by which 54 km of road is planned to be renovated. Second round of the program will be finished in 2011.
