100th ANNIVERSARY OF DEV°S BIRTH MARKED

GLENDALE, JULY 17, ARMENPRESS:The 100th Anniversary of birth of well-known Iranian Armenian poet and painter Dev (Margar Gharabekian, 1901-1976) was marked at the Hall of Iranian Armenian Union inn Glendale, USA. Speeches concerning the art worker°s poetry and paintings were delivered by professors Razmik Madoyan and Vahagn Mkrtchian. Dev is an author of a number of books ("My Songs", "This Long Road"). A book of collected poems by Dev was published in Yerevan in 1973.
