THE DEADLINE FOR THE ADMISSION OF APPLICATION OF PARTICIPATION IN THE ARMENIAN QUALIFICATION ROUND OF JUNIOR “EUROVISION-2009” INTERNATIONAL SONG CONTEST PROLONGED BY J

YEREVAN, JUNE 23, ARMENPRESS:The deadline for admission of applications of participation in the Armenian qualification round of the Junior “Eurovision-2009” international song contest has been prolonged by June 29. Previously June 22 was announced as a deadline. Consultant of the Public TV for the special projects Diana Mnatsakanian told Armenpress that the songs are adopted in their final variants and many did not manage to record them, because of which they have applied with a request to prolong the terms. At the first pre-election round the jury will chose 7 best songs which will be presented during the second TV round July 12. The jury of the second pre- election round will assess the results in close and secret voting. Besides the jury the Armenian audience also can take part in the voting through SMS messages for which 15 minutes of time will be provided. The author-singer of the best work which will get highest points by the jury and SMS voting will get a right to represent Armenia in the Junior “Eurovision-2009” international song contest scheduled for November 21 in Kiev.
