At its meeting on 31 October 2026, Armenia’s Central Electoral Commission (CEC) assigned ballot numbers to the parties and party alliances participating in the local elections scheduled for 29 November 2026.
According to a CEC statement, the commission established the procedure and timetable for allocating airtime to parties contesting the Ashtarak and Kapan municipal council elections on 29 November 2026. The arrangements cover public television and radio broadcasters, as well as broadcasters licensed to use a slot on Armenia’s public multiplex to provide coverage in Aragatsotn and Syunik provinces.
In a separate decision, the CEC allocated among the parties and party alliances contesting the 29 November 2026 local elections the right to display campaign posters on outdoor advertising boards larger than five square metres.
The commission also set the polling dates for the regular local elections in 2027.
