Prime Minister calls on citizens who consider Kocharyan family’s property lawful to stage a revolution

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has said that if Armenian citizens consider the property belonging to Robert Kocharyan and his family, worth several hundred million dollars, to be lawful, they can try to change the government through political means.
“I directly call on those citizens of the Republic of Armenia who consider the property of Robert Kocharyan and his family, worth several hundred million dollars, to be lawful to take to the streets and stage a revolution,” Pashinyan said during the National Assembly-Government question-and-answer session.
He stressed that the Government’s political will is to ensure the return of property of illicit origin belonging to former officials.
“Because our political will is that we will return to the ownership of the Republic of Armenia even a shoe belonging to Robert Kocharyan and his family if it was acquired illegally. Anyone who disagrees, I call on them to stage a revolution,” he added.
