Armenian, Polish officials discuss economic cooperation

On September 10, Davit Karapetyan, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of the Republic of Armenia, had a meeting with Henryka Mościcka-Dendys, Head of the Foreign Service and Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland.

According to a ministry readout, Davit Karapetyan and Henryka Mościcka-Dendys discussed opportunities to strengthen institutional cooperation between the Foreign Ministries of Armenia and Poland, highlighting the expansion of direct contacts and professional exchanges. They addressed cooperation in economic diplomacy. In light of the new responsibilities of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Armenia, they highlighted the importance of exchanging experience in international trade, including export promotion, investment attraction and the development of business ties.

The Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Armenia and the Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland emphasized the importance of cooperation in the field of diplomatic education and training, discussing opportunities for experience exchange between the diplomatic academies of the two countries and the implementation of joint programmes. 

Prospects for developing cooperation between the Yerevan Dialogue and Polish partner institutions was also discussed, highlighting continued cooperation with the Casimir Pulaski Foundation and deeper engagement with the Warsaw Security Forum. At the conclusion of the meeting, Davit Karapetyan and Henryka Mościcka-Dendys signed a Memorandum of Understanding for Cooperation on Diplomatic Training and Education between the Diplomatic Academies of the Foreign Ministries of Armenia and Poland.
