German Foreign Ministry says diplomatic contacts with Russia are being maintained

Germany and Russia are maintaining regular diplomatic contacts, TASS reported, citing German Foreign Ministry spokesman Martin Giese, who made the remarks during a briefing with journalists.

“Yes, of course, there is contact. Our embassy in Moscow continues to operate, as does the Russian Embassy here in Berlin. There are regular diplomatic contacts that are necessary to ensure this work,” he said.
