Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory letter to President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on Uzbekistan’s Independence Day.
“Please accept my sincere congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Uzbekistan,” the Armenian PM said in the letter published by his office.
“I commend the significant progress made by Uzbekistan and the large-scale reforms aimed at the development of the country, which, under your leadership, create new opportunities for the sustainable development of the country, increasing citizens’ well-being and strengthening the international reputation of Uzbekistan.
I am confident that the friendly relations, mutual respect and trust established between Armenia and Uzbekistan, as well as the efforts made by both sides, will give a new impetus to the further development and expansion of political dialogue and mutually beneficial cooperation between our countries.
I am convinced that, based on the existing mutual political understanding and trust, we will be able to give new content to relations between Armenia and Uzbekistan and discover new opportunities for cooperation for the benefit of our peoples.
Taking this opportunity, I wish you good health and new successes, and prosperity and sustainable progress to the people of Uzbekistan.”
