Pashinyan congratulates Moldovan president on Independence Day

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to Moldovan President Maia Sandu on the occasion of Independence Day.

“I warmly congratulate you and the friendly people of the Republic of Moldova on the occasion of Moldova’s national holiday, Independence Day,” Pashinyan said in a letter published by his office.

“We attach great importance to the continuous development of our bilateral relations based on common democratic values and friendship and the expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation in all areas of mutual interest, for the benefit of our two peoples.

I am also confident that in the context of the deepening of our countries’ relations with the European Union, we will be able to discover new mutually beneficial directions of cooperation.

I wish you fruitful activities, and peace and prosperity to the friendly people of Moldova.”
