Israeli warplanes and artillery carried out a series of strikes on several areas in southern Lebanon, RIA Novosti reports.
Israeli aircraft struck the village of Al-Mansouri several times, while artillery simultaneously shelled the village of Zawtar al-Sharqiyah and other areas in the south of the country.
An Israeli drone also dropped explosives in the Al-Dabsha area near Nabatieh al-Fawqa. Aitaroun also came under artillery fire, while Israeli forces opened machine-gun fire towards the area.
An artillery shell struck the municipal administration building in Bani Hayyan, while an Israeli drone crashed near the village of Zibqin.
The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) had earlier reported a noticeable increase in Israeli military activity in the south of the country. According to the mission, peacekeepers recorded an average of 137 shots per day between August 5 and 16, with 208 recorded on Saturday and 185 on Sunday.
