Defense Minister Suren Papikyan held a meeting in Yerevan on Monday with India’s Defense Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh.
According to a readout from the ministry, Papikyan lauded the course of cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting discussed issues related to Armenia-India cooperation in the defense sector, including military-technical cooperation.
The sides also addressed issues related to regional and international security.
India’s Ambassador to Armenia Nilakshi Saha Sinha also attended the meeting.
Defense Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh arrived in Armenia on an official visit on August 16.
The Indian Defense Ministry said in a statement earlier that during the visit, he will engage with the Armenian leadership to chart the course of future India-Armenia defense and strategic cooperation.
