Armenia, Canada discuss prospects for expanding bilateral agenda in priority areas

Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan met in Ottawa with Glenn Purves, Canada's Associate Deputy Minister of International Trade, and David Angell, Canada's Senior Assistant Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs.

According to the Armenian Foreign Ministry, the sides discussed prospects for expanding the bilateral agenda in priority areas, emphasizing the need to further enhance trade and economic ties and promote mutual investment.

They also underscored the importance of high-level bilateral contacts for the continued development of political dialogue between Armenia and Canada.

The meeting also touched upon opportunities to further expand cooperation in multilateral formats.
