Armenian prime minister offers condolences over the death of Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has sent a message of condolence to the Amir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, over the death of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
The message, released by the Office of the Prime Minister, reads:
“It was with deep sorrow that I learned of the passing of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Father Amir of the State of Qatar.
His Highness’s outstanding role and contribution to Qatar’s development, prosperity and growing international standing, as well as to the promotion of regional and international dialogue and cooperation, will remain forever in the pages of history.
The Republic of Armenia also highly values the late Father Amir’s significant contribution to strengthening and developing the friendly relations between Armenia and Qatar, as reflected in the award of the Order of Friendship of the Republic of Armenia.
At this difficult time, on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Armenia and personally, I extend my deepest condolences to Your Highness, the leadership and friendly people of Qatar, as well as to the late Father Amir’s family and loved ones, wishing them strength and fortitude in the face of this profound loss.”
