Five killed in shooting at juvenile detention facility in Germany

Five people were killed in a shooting at a juvenile detention facility in Stade, near the German port city of Hamburg, Reuters reported.

Police said two suspects had been arrested in connection with the incident.

A police spokesperson said the motive for the shooting remains unknown.

According to the spokesperson, it is not yet clear how many people were injured in the incident.

A witness reportedly saw two individuals, a man and a woman, attempting to flee the scene before they were apprehended by police.
