Russian Ambassador meets Armenia’s Central Electoral Commission Chairman ahead of elections

Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergei Kopyrkin and the embassy’s First Secretary, Alexander Malishev, met with Central Electoral Commission (CEC) Chairman Vahagn Hovakimyan.

The CEC said in a press release that “the ambassador inquired about the preparatory process for the upcoming general elections.” It did not provide further details.
