International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) President Luciano Rossi said he is impressed by the high level of organization at the European Championships in Yerevan.
"We are receiving a wonderful reception here in Yerevan. I thank Armenia, I thank the Prime Minister, and I thank the Armenian Shooting Federation. Truly, great and excellent work has been done. This is the first time we are holding the European Championship here, and I hope it will not be the last," Rossi told Armenpress.
He praised the impressive opening ceremony, noting that it was full of European spirit.
"This means a great deal to me personally. We sincerely appreciate what a well-organized championship is being held. I am pleasantly surprised. We have warm, brotherly relations with the President of the Armenian Shooting Federation, Artur Hovhannisyan, and Secretary General Areg Saribekyan," he emphasized.
Referring to the possibility of organizing a World Championship in Armenia in the future, Rossi noted that he considers it feasible.
