Armenian Army's 34th anniversary celebrated in Germany

An official reception was held at the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Germany on the occasion of the 34th anniversary of the establishment of the Armenian Army, the Armenian Embassy in Germany said in a statement.

Diplomats accredited in Germany, military attachés, and representatives of the Federal Ministry of Defense of Germany attended the event.

Participants were welcomed by Armenia’s Ambassador to Germany, Viktor Yengibaryan, who presented legitimacy, interconnectedness, predictability, and peace as key principles for ensuring state security.

The Ambassador also outlined Armenia’s efforts and recent positive developments aimed at establishing peace in the South Caucasus. He highlighted the importance of the joint declaration on the strategic agenda between Armenia and Germany signed by the Prime Minister of Armenia and the Federal Chancellor of Germany.

On behalf of the Government and people of Armenia, Ambassador Yengibaryan expressed gratitude to Armenia’s partners, including Germany, for supporting ongoing efforts to promote peace and stability in the South Caucasus region.

Military Attaché of the Armenian Embassy, Colonel Arayik Barseghyan, also delivered remarks during the reception, presenting the ongoing reform process in the Armenian Armed Forces.
