Armenian Ambassador, AIES President discuss regional developments and cooperation

Andranik Hovhannisyan, Ambassador of Armenia to Austria, on Wednesday met with Dr. Werner Fasslabend, President of the Austrian Institute for European and Security Policy (AIES), the Embassy of Armenia to Vienna said in a statement.

Ambassador Hovhannisyan presented Armenia’s foreign policy priorities, regional peace agenda, TRIPP project and recent developments in this context.

The interlocutors exchanged views on the evolving global geopolitical landscape, as well as discussed the opportunities to further strengthen Armenia–Austria relations.

 Dr. Werner Fasslabend is one of Austria’s leading analysts on international politics and security. He was also Austria’s longest-serving Minister of Defense.
