YouTube monetization in Armenia expected to launch in late April–early May

YouTube monetization in Armenia is expected to be activated in late April or early May, Armenia’s Minister of High-Tech Industry said during the Parliament–Cabinet Q&A session, referring to the visit of the US Vice President and Armenian-American cooperation.

The first Armenia–US Technology and Innovation Summit was held in Yerevan. According to Minister Hayrapetyan, over the past few days they have managed to invite various representatives of major US technology companies.

US partners conveyed and reaffirmed a statement made by Google earlier in the day. "In Armenia, monetization will most likely be activated in late April or early May. In other words, the YouTube Partner Program will become available in Armenia," the minister said.
