Armenian Minister of Economy visits dairy factory in Tavush amid major expansion plans

Armenian Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan visited the Dili dairy factory in Tavush Province.
The company plans to establish a large-scale livestock complex designed to accommodate 600 head of cattle. Within the framework of the state-supported cattle breeding development program, the company has already acquired 231 pedigree Holstein cattle, according to the Ministry of Economy.
Within the framework of another state program, the company plans to make an investment of AMD 3.4 billion in the livestock sector.
“The company ‘Dili’ has also benefited from other state support programs. In particular, under the ‘Support Program for Leasing of Equipment in the Agri-Food Sector in the Republic of Armenia,’ the company acquired nine units of equipment worth AMD 81.9 million, for which the subsidized amount provided as of 30 December 2025 amounted to AMD 31.6 million. Within the framework of the ‘Support Program for Leasing of Agricultural Machinery in the Republic of Armenia,’ eight units of agricultural machinery were acquired, including three tractors. The total leasing amount was approximately AMD 50 million,” the Ministry of Economy said in a press release.
The company currently employs around 70 staff members, with plans to double this number. Its production facilities are equipped with modern technologies.
Tavush Governor Hayk Ghalumyan and Dilijan Mayor Davit Sargsyan accompanied the Economy Minister during the visit.
