Armenian minister meets World Bank delegation to discuss energy, transport, and water sectors

Armenian Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Davit Khudatyan held a meeting in Yerevan with a delegation led by Charles J. Cormier, the World Bank’s Infrastructure Regional Director for Europe and Central Asia. Rolande Pryce, the World Bank Regional Director for the South Caucasus, also participated in the meeting.

The minister welcomed the delegation and noted that Armenia has a rich working agenda with the World Bank, covering almost all sectors coordinated by the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure.

According to a readout from the ministry, Khudatyan emphasized that for many years the World Bank has been not only a financial partner for Armenia but also a reliable strategic partner in reforms, infrastructure development, and the strengthening of institutional capacities.

During the meeting, issues related to the energy, transport, and water sectors were discussed. Reference was also made to the Crossroads of Peace initiative.
