Infrastructure minister discusses nationwide road construction and repairs

Armenia’s Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Davit Khudatyan discussed with officials in charge of the country’s road infrastructure the progress of road construction, repair and maintenance works being carried out in various regions of the country, as well as ways to improve their efficiency.

During the meeting with representatives of the Road Department, a government agency overseeing the country’s road infrastructure, the ongoing capital and medium repair programs were discussed in detail, along with the progress of the North-South project, the ministry said in a readout.

Particular attention was paid to establishing strict oversight over the quality of construction works and ensuring strict compliance with set deadlines.

The Minister gave specific instructions on coordinating the works, responding promptly to existing problems, and consistently implementing ongoing strategic programs.
