Prime Minister receives delegation led by Chief of the Defence Staff of Indian Armed Forces

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received a delegation led by the Chief of the Defence Staff of the Indian Armed Forces, General Anil Chauhan, who is on an official visit to the Republic of Armenia, the PM's office said in a readout.
The Prime Minister welcomed General Chauhan's visit to Armenia and expressed confidence that it would give new impetus to the continued development of relations between Armenia and India.
Pashinyan highlighted the centuries-old warm relations between the two countries and noted that an active dialogue is currently underway in various areas.
The Chief of the Defence Staff of the Indian Armed Forces expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality and noted that productive discussions had been held with Armenian counterparts to promote further cooperation.
The parties discussed issues related to the expansion of cooperation in the field of defence and security.
