Armenia to increase exports to Germany

Armenian Ambassador to Germany Viktor Yengibaryan met with Antonin Finkelnburg, Director General of the Federation of German Wholesale, Foreign Trade and Services (BGA).
The Armenian embassy stated that ways to expand effective trade and economic cooperation between Armenia and Germany were discussed.
The ambassador expressed satisfaction that Armenia has been selected as a partner country of the Import Promotion Desk, and the upcoming steps in this regard were reviewed. Thanks to the Import Promotion Desk program, Armenia is expected to expand its export volumes to Germany in the coming years, particularly in the agricultural and textile sectors, according to the embassy.
In addition, the parties addressed geopolitical developments and exchanged views on regional developments in the South Caucasus, as well as on the normalization of Armenia’s relations with Azerbaijan and Türkiye.
