Five people were killed and 21 others injured in an explosion at a mosque in the Syrian city of Homs, the Syrian SANA state news agency reported.
The agency described the blast at the Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib Mosque in the Wadi al-Dahab district as a “terrorist explosion.”
Citing a security source, SANA reported that initial investigations indicate that explosive devices were planted inside the mosque.
