The Engineering City Legends Walk of Fame unveiled the stars honoring the 2022, 2023, and 2024 laureates of Armenia’s Global High-Tech Award.
Minister of High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, along with other officials and IT leaders, attended the event, the ministry said in a press release.
Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen, Infosys founder Narayana Murthy, and AIPLAB founder Dr. Yoshiaki Daimon Hagiwara now have their stars on the Walk of Fame at Engineering City.
Welcoming and congratulating the laureates, Minister Hayrapetyan said that the individual is at the center of the approaches of the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the technological community—as a creator of innovation, leadership, and universal human values. According to him, individuals who, through their knowledge, initiative, and innovative thinking, contribute to the development of technology companies create value not only for their own organizations but for all of humanity.
Speeches at the ceremonial event were also delivered by Hovik Musayelyan, Director of Synopsys Armenia and coordinator of the work of the Global High-Tech Awards Executive Council and the International Selection Committee; Bagrat Yengibaryan, Director of the Enterprise Incubator Foundation; Yutaka Aoki, Ambassador of Japan to Armenia; and Davit Gevorgyan, Deputy CEO of Viva.
The 2025 laureate of Armenia’s Global High-Tech Award, Vincent Roche—CEO and Chair of the Board of Directors of Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI)—received his star earlier this year.
