Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, met with UK Minister of State for Defense Vernon Coaker during his visit to London.
In a statement on social media, Grigoryan said he discussed with Coaker the expansion of cooperation in the fields of security and defense, emphasizing the importance of exchanging defense attachés and conducting high-level reciprocal visits in the future.
“We also touched upon the significance of continuously deepening economic cooperation and business ties,” Secretary Grigoryan added.
The officials also discussed the peace in the South Caucasus established after the U.S.-brokered Armenian-Azerbaijani peace summit on August 8 in Washington, D.C., as well as emerging broad economic opportunities.
