During a meeting following the official ceremony, President Sandu congratulated the Armenian ambassador on assuming his post, wishing him success in advancing initiatives aimed at strengthening relations between the two countries, the Foreign Ministry said in a press release.
Ambassador Galstyan expressed his commitment to making every effort to further consolidate the friendly relations between Armenia and Moldova, enhance mutually beneficial cooperation in all areas of bilateral interest, and intensify political dialogue and contacts.
Ideas were exchanged on priority areas of bilateral cooperation, regional security and interconnectedness, as well as Moldova’s EU membership process and the strategic agenda of the Armenia–EU partnership.
