Armenia reaches historic jobs record

A new record number of jobs has been recorded in Armenia, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said on Thursday.
He told the Cabinet that as of October 2025, the number of salaried jobs in Armenia reached a historic high of 810,074.
“In October 2025, the number of jobs increased by around 5,000 compared to October of last year, and by 223,895 compared to October 2018,” Prime Minister Pashinyan highlighted.
He noted that the total payroll has grown significantly in recent years, rising by 149 billion drams, which has in turn impacted the average salary.
“Average wages in October reached 313,000 drams, an increase of 135,000 drams compared to 2018,” Pashinyan emphasized.
