Armenian, Georgian infrastructure ministers discuss bilateral cooperation

During his working visit to the Republic of Georgia, Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of the Republic of Armenia David Khudatyan met with Georgia's Minister of Infrastructure Revaz Sokhadze on November 24, the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of Armenia said in a readout.

The meeting was also attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Georgia Ashot Smbatyan, the SArmenian  Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures Kristine Ghalechyan, and Executive Director of the “Road Department” Fund Arkady Cherchinyan.

The sides emphasized the friendly relations between Armenia and Georgia and the recent active contacts between the leaders of the two countries.

They discussed issues related to road infrastructure, the water sector, and the progress of the construction of the North–South road.

A number of topics pertaining to the road construction sector, as well as tunnel and bridge construction experience, were also addressed.
