Romanian senator briefed on Armenia-Türkiye normalization process

Vice Speaker of Parliament and Armenia’s Special Representative for Normalization with Türkiye, Ruben Rubinyan, held a meeting with the delegation led by Titus Corlățean, Chairperson of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Romanian Senate.

According to a readout issued by the parliament’s press service, Vice Speaker Ruben Rubinyan stated that Armenia attaches importance to deepening cooperation and relations with Romania, which are based on the centuries-old friendship between the two peoples.

He presented the efforts and steps aimed at strengthening peace in the region.
The Armenia–Türkiye normalization process was also discussed.
