Armenian lawmaker to participate in Rio Parliamentary Green Investment Summit

Armenian Member of Parliament Mary Galstyan, from the Civil Contract faction, will visit Rio de Janeiro for the Rio Parliamentary Green Investment Summit, the parliament’s press service reported.

In the lead-up to COP30, the summit will bring together legislators from 35 countries, along with investors, government representatives, and international organizations. It is co-hosted by Climate Parliament and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, with support from the Green Climate Fund, the Climate Compatible Growth programme, the Climate Emergency Collaboration Group, and others. The summit aims to unite political leadership and financial stakeholders to build a low-carbon future.

MP Galstyan will be in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from October 31 to November 6.
