The government has revised and raised its economic growth forecasts for both 2025 and 2026, projecting growth of 5.2% and 5.4%, respectively, Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan said on Monday.

“The economic growth forecasts have been revised upward based on developments this year and expectations for the near future. This year’s forecast has been raised from 5.1% to 5.2%, and the 2026 forecast has been revised from 5.1% to 5.4%,” Hovhannisyan said at a joint committee meeting in parliament on the 2026 budget bill.

According to the minister, economic growth will be driven mainly by the expansion of the services and industrial sectors, while from a demand perspective, it will be supported by the growth of domestic demand and exports of Armenian-made products.
